Although Reiki involves human touch, it is not massage therapy. Reiki can be given anywhere; sitting in a chair or lying down. At Faye’s Light we have the guest lie on our massage table (if they are physically able) fully clothed except for shoes, while the practitioner places her or his hands over the parts of the body to “scan” their energy field. The recipient experiences a peaceful, meditative state. Overall Reiki is great for stress reduction, circulation, pain management and overall wellbeing.
Reflexology is the art of massaging and stimulating specific points on the feet which correspond to all of the glands, organs and other parts of the body. Reflexology can relieve stress and tension, balances the whole body, creates relaxation and a sense of well-being.
The process of relaxing the body so the mind can focus better on its thoughts. Sometimes, called visualization or guided imagery, guided meditation is simply allowing yourself to follow a guiding voice to help you imagine something that feels wonderful and powerful.
Offered on the first and third Thursdays of the month, create a variety of projects including collages, vision boards, prayer flags, prayer beads, and much more. Everyone has a creative side just waiting to express itself. No previous experience needed.
Healing Touch is energy based therapeutic approach to healing. The therapist uses a collection of energy based techniques to assess and treat the person thus affecting physical, emotional, mental and spiritual health and healing. The goal of Healing Touch is to restore harmony and balance in the persons energy system to promote self-healing.
Restorative Sound Therapy
A unique sound massage that soothes and stimulates every cell of your body utilizing Tibetan Singing Bowls. The sound and vibration of the bowls entrain the brain waves to a deeper state of relaxation, instantly releasing stress and tension, relieving pain, and calming the mental chatter.

I often have people asking me what “energy work” is so I borrowed a brief explanation from www.healing-for-wellbeing.com: "Generally speaking, it is acknowledged that energy therapy encourages the body to draw upon its natural healing ability by opening up the flow of energy, clearing emotional blockages and detoxifying itself."
The human energy field sets the foundation for the physical body. So, if the energy field goes wrong, this will eventually affects the physical body. A disease and ill-heath manifest themselves first in our energy field before showing up on our physical bodies.
The human being is an open system of energy that lives in an energy environment which is constantly shifting and moving. A healthy body thrives in this environment with a clean continuous flow of balanced energy.
When there is a conflict with the environment around us (for example the unhealthy food we eat, common day stress from work or relationships, the quality of the polluted air and water we breathe, etc.) a healthy energy system is able to release this excessive energy immediately because our natural flow of energy always moves towards generating perfect health and well-being.
As an analogy, just as water surrounds the sea creatures and is vital for fish species, the surrounding energy field baths our bodies through and through to keep us alive. A healthy fish swallows up water to get nourishment before releasing it.
Likewise, the human being does not just swallow air to breath but also –through the various energy centers of his/her body, called chakras- absorbs the surrounding energy force, or life force, to revitalize himself or herself before letting go off the extra energy that is not needed
